Along the way, I brought something most conversion specialists don't have: a postgraduate research background in Medical & Molecular Biosciences, and a data science education built on statistical rigour. I applied the same clinical methodology I used in a research lab to ecommerce conversion — hypothesis-first, evidence-driven, validated before claiming a win.

Most ecommerce brands are built on shaky data and marketing intuition. I built Vital Forge Lab to fix that — specifically for health brands, where the stakes of misplaced trust are highest.

Adi Rao is a Technical CRO Specialist based in Bangalore, India, working remotely with DTC health and wellness brands globally. His background sits at an intersection that doesn't exist elsewhere in this space: a research-grade science education, a decade of technical web implementation, and a specialisation in the psychology of health-conscious buyers.

His path into CRO was unconventional. Most of his early work was embedded inside web development and freelance consulting — building the things, not just recommending them. That hands-on foundation means he thinks in implementations, not slide decks. When he designs an experiment, he also ships it.

The medical research background isn't decorative. It shapes how he reads data, designs tests, and interprets results. He doesn't call a winner until the statistics say it's a win. He doesn't run an experiment without a falsifiable hypothesis. The same discipline that governs a clinical trial governs every A/B test he runs.
